Review-Pirates 2: The Hidden Treasure

What was the musical about?

In case you were not able to attend the show, here is the main plot of the show:
The pirates are sailing, with hopes of big riches. During their time sailing a huge storm comes. The ocean starts getting mighty rough. Then, they crash and everyone passes out. Once everyone wakes up, they realize they are on a deserted island. They start to brainstorm ways they can fix their wrecked ship. The king comes up with a bright idea to have a talent show. During the talent show, they realize a talent show would not help them get off of the island. Then, they lose all hope of getting off of the island. All of the sudden, they hear jungle drums in the distance. They realize that they are not alone on this island. There are natives there also. The natives come and tell the Pirates that they have the richest treasure of all, they have friendship. The natives help repair the ship and the Pirates continue to sail.

How I would rate it

If I were to rate this show out of 5 stars (5 being the highest), I would give it a 4 ½. I liked this show a little bit better then the first one. I liked this one more because it had more humor and was very enjoyable. This one also had more Pirates. This I thought was good because then more people get a chance to have a main role. Lastly, this play had more movement and excitement in the dance moves. This was good because chorus does not get to do very much, and this was a chance to enjoy performing a little bit more.
What others thought
I interviewed Hannah Link, to ask her about how she thought the play went. Here's what she said:
Kayliana- “How do you think the play went?”
Hannah- “I think it went pretty good, besides the people that messed up their lines.”
Kayliana- If you could rate this play by stars, five stars being the highest, what would you rate it?”
Hannah-”If I was judging it by how the play was written, I would give it four stars. I would give it this because the storyline was good, but it was not the best play ever. If I were judging it by how the actors were, I would give it 5 stars, because everyone was fantabulous.”
Kayliana- “Did you like this play, or the first one best?”

 Hannah-”I liked the first one better because I was in it, and I am awesome.”

    Great job I enjoyed this play if I were to rate it, I'd give it 3 1/2 stars it was good but not the best. great and creative post Kayliana!!!!

    Kayliana, I really liked your post! I have to agree that there was more humor in that one, but my favorite has to be the first, because it was more original, and I was in it, and I am awesome. Great job!

Teaching you about candy!- Noël Did you know that Oreos are good but have lots of stuff that you don't know about! Oreos are a delicious cookie for dessert anytime. But did you know that oreos have Wheat and Soy in them! They are also 140 calories per 2 cookies! They also have Salt,Chocolate,Sugar,Palm/Canola Oil,Leavening, Riboflavin and Unbleached Flour. What even is Riboflavin!!! Hey it's airheads! But Airheads have lots of sugar and obviously aren't good for you! Air heads are amazing and chewy! Did you know that they are made in a place that processes flour! Here are some weird words that are in the ingredients: maltodextrin, hydrogenated, artificial,and manufactured. I think I would rather have Oreos than Air Heads. because I like Air Heads but they are too chewy! Did you know that many people don't even know about how much sugar really affects you! Weekly Update Written By: Kayliana Harris Here is a quick recap of things we have been doing throughout this week. Writing: In writing we have been working on a piece about colonial times. Each student was assigned to a specific job in colonial times. Then, we researched our job and found out as much information as possible on colonial times. We wrote and typed our body paragraphs. Recently, we have been brainstorming ideas for our introduction paragraph. We have not yet wrote it but we are very close. That is what we have been doing in writing. Math : In math we have been working hard on fractions. We have learned how to make an equivalent fraction, simplify a fraction, and how to change an improper fraction into a mixed number (and the other way around).
