My spring break
My spring break was pretty interesting. My family and two other families that we are good friends with went on the trip. First we went to New Orleans Louisiana. It was a twelve hour drive and we got up at 2:00 in the morning, but it was totally worth it. We then got to our hotel, unpacked, and visited New Orleans. We were on the famous “Bourbon Street”. Then on sunday we visited New Orleans and took part in a New Orleans parade. On monday we boarded the Carnival Elation cruise ship at about 1:00 PM.
We then investigated the cruise ship while we were floating the Louisiana river. At about 9:00 to 10:00 that night we finally got to the ocean. Tuesday was a day at sea( which means we wouldn’t stop at any islands that day and we would be in the middle of the ocean the whole day).Me and my buddy Austin got up at 7:00 AM that morning and went and jogged on the track. We also went and played basketball then ate breakfast at the buffet. That day we just played around on the cruise ship and played a lot of basketball.

Then on Wednesday me and Austin woke up at 7:00 again that morning and went and jogged, played basketball and ate breakfast. Then our families all left the ship at about 9:00 to 10:00 AM to go visit Cozumel Mexico. We took a taxi to a place called Paradise Island. They had a bunch of blow up slides and trampolines in the water by the beach. We spent the day there playing and lying on the beach. We got back on the ship at about 4:00 PM. On tuesday me and Austin got up at 7:00 AM again and jogged, played basketball and ate breakfast. Then we spent the day on the beach at Progreso Mexico. On our way back to the ship, we stopped and shopped a little bit. I got some Oakley sunglasses and a Carolina Panthers backpack there. We got back on the ship at about 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
Then on Friday was another day at sea. The whole day we just hung out on the ship. I played about 12 hours worth of basketball on the trip! On Saturday we arrived at the same New Orleans dock we came from. We packed up and left the ship. We started driving home at about 11:00 AM. We got home at about midnight. This year’s spring break was my most favorite spring break ever. It was extremely fun.

    I am really really really jealous, because, as you know I really really really want to visit the ocean, but I can't because both of my parents work and never have vacations at the same time.

The temperature going to be 34* out and watch out chocolate puddles, the ground is going to be frozen popsicles.  Make sure you wear a coat,  rain boots and an umbella. Teaching you about candy!- Noël Did you know that Oreos are good but have lots of stuff that you don't know about! Oreos are a delicious cookie for dessert anytime. But did you know that oreos have Wheat and Soy in them! They are also 140 calories per 2 cookies! They also have Salt,Chocolate,Sugar,Palm/Canola Oil,Leavening, Riboflavin and Unbleached Flour. What even is Riboflavin!!! Hey it's airheads! But Airheads have lots of sugar and obviously aren't good for you! Air heads are amazing and chewy! Did you know that they are made in a place that processes flour! Here are some weird words that are in the ingredients: maltodextrin, hydrogenated, artificial,and manufactured. I think I would rather have Oreos than Air Heads. because I like Air Heads but they are too chewy! Did you know that many people don't even know about how much sugar really affects you! Weekly Update Written By: Kayliana Harris Here is a quick recap of things we have been doing throughout this week. Writing: In writing we have been working on a piece about colonial times. Each student was assigned to a specific job in colonial times. Then, we researched our job and found out as much information as possible on colonial times. We wrote and typed our body paragraphs. Recently, we have been brainstorming ideas for our introduction paragraph. We have not yet wrote it but we are very close. That is what we have been doing in writing. Math : In math we have been working hard on fractions. We have learned how to make an equivalent fraction, simplify a fraction, and how to change an improper fraction into a mixed number (and the other way around).
