Brooke: New Additions to the Bess Family

Bess Family party of 5… I mean, 8!
Thats right we have added some new additions to the Bess Family!


Meet Wicket…
Wicket is a chi mix (chihuahua mix) and is the cutest friendliest dog ever! He’s 12-13 weeks old but plenty playful! Wicket enjoys curling up on your lap and snuggling with his toy ewok. How did he get the name Wicket?... STAR WARS! If you know me,  my family loves  STAR WARS and Wicket is a small Ewok from STAR WARS (teddy-bear looking creatures) Next in line for his name was Chewbacca (Chewy) a wookie, but that turned out to be his middle name!...His full name is..Wicket Chewbacca Bess! We met Wicket at petsmart but he was born at Second Chance. We adopted Wicket on April 9th 2016

Meet Rey…  
Rey is just a kitten but that does NOT mean she isn't tough! Rey is (like Wicket) 12-13 weeks old and is the most active kitten with her brother BB-8. Like Wicket Rey was named after the main girl in STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKENS.  Rey loves to nap and wrestle her brother. We adopted Rey on April 9th 2016, at PetSmart but she and her brother are from Boone County  Animal Shelter. Rey’s full name is.. Rey Marie Bess!

Meet BB-8
BB-8 (BB) came along with his sister Rey he is also 12-13 weeks old. And like the others BB was named after the STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKENS droid. He LOVES to sleep and loves to be scratched under his chin. He also will put on a show wrestling his sister Rey. At night he curls up in your lap after a long day of playing. We got BB-8 from Boone County  Animal shelter and adopted him on April 9th 2016. His full name is BB-8 Poe Bess.

The weather forecast for today is:      It will be a cloudy day with a chance of bacon a nd raining soda. The temperature going to be 34* out and watch out chocolate puddles, the ground is going to be frozen popsicles.  Make sure you wear a coat,  rain boots and an umbella. Be very careful because you don't want to step in th e chocolate.   You might get some luck,  it’s  supposed to become a little warm . Be careful you don't want to get hit by  bacon do you ? We will be having P.E and we are going to be playing 4 square volleyball, I wonder who is going to win ? In science, we learned about matters. Teaching you about candy!- Noël Did you know that Oreos are good but have lots of stuff that you don't know about! Oreos are a delicious cookie for dessert anytime. But did you know that oreos have Wheat and Soy in them! They are also 140 calories per 2 cookies! They also have Salt,Chocolate,Sugar,Palm/Canola Oil,Leavening, Riboflavin and Unbleached Flour. What even is Riboflavin!!! Hey it's airheads! But Airheads have lots of sugar and obviously aren't good for you! Air heads are amazing and chewy! Did you know that they are made in a place that processes flour! Here are some weird words that are in the ingredients: maltodextrin, hydrogenated, artificial,and manufactured. I think I would rather have Oreos than Air Heads. because I like Air Heads but they are too chewy! Did you know that many people don't even know about how much sugar really affects you! Weekly Update Written By: Kayliana Harris Here is a quick recap of things we have been doing throughout this week. Writing: In writing we have been working on a piece about colonial times. Each student was assigned to a specific job in colonial times. Then, we researched our job and found out as much information as possible on colonial times. We wrote and typed our body paragraphs. Recently, we have been brainstorming ideas for our introduction paragraph. We have not yet wrote it but we are very close. That is what we have been doing in writing. Math : In math we have been working hard on fractions. We have learned how to make an equivalent fraction, simplify a fraction, and how to change an improper fraction into a mixed number (and the other way around).
