Cookies,rice crispy treats,pretzels oh my
On December 17th we had cookie making. Our cookie making is crazy. My whole step dad’s family comes to decorate cookies, rice crispy treats and chocolate dipped pretzels.
The first thing we have to do is prepare for guests. So we move all the furniture and we put down a tarp so nothing gets on the floor. Then we get another table out. And that is when the first gest popped in, it was aunt Paula and then Macy, Uncle Chris, Emory, Aunt Carol, Madeline, all of them started pouring in. Once we got started it was as loud as always everybody yelling can you pass the icing, blue the red yellow, pink, orange and on top of that everybody is talking to one another. We decorated like no one's business but that was only the start.

We were decorating cookies from santa's to elf shoes. Sprinkles were flying everywhere and frosting all over. Then we brought in pretzels and milk and white chocolate to dip the pretzels. Some of the pretzels got sprinkles and some got marshmallows but all of them tasted good. We did not last long before we brought out rice crispy treats. We got creative with the decorating. We poured chocolate on them, we drizzled chocolate over them, and we put icing on them. Then we went back to cookies and pretzels and all of it. In the end we all sat on the couch and talked then they had to leave.Then it was time to clean up. Overall it was a really fun time.

The temperature going to be 34* out and watch out chocolate puddles, the ground is going to be frozen popsicles.  Make sure you wear a coat,  rain boots and an umbella. Be very careful because you don't want to step in th e chocolate.   You might get some luck,  it’s  supposed to become a little warm . Be careful you don't want to get hit by  bacon do you ? We will be having P.E and we are going to be playing 4 square volleyball, I wonder who is going to win ? In science, we learned about matters. It is really fun because we got to guess what we thought were in the cups.

Teaching you about candy!- Noël Did you know that Oreos are good but have lots of stuff that you don't know about! Oreos are a delicious cookie for dessert anytime. But did you know that oreos have Wheat and Soy in them! They are also 140 calories per 2 cookies! They also have Salt,Chocolate,Sugar,Palm/Canola Oil,Leavening, Riboflavin and Unbleached Flour. What even is Riboflavin!!! Hey it's airheads! But Airheads have lots of sugar and obviously aren't good for you! Air heads are amazing and chewy! Did you know that they are made in a place that processes flour! Here are some weird words that are in the ingredients: maltodextrin, hydrogenated, artificial,and manufactured. I think I would rather have Oreos than Air Heads. because I like Air Heads but they are too chewy! Did you know that many people don't even know about how much sugar really affects you! Weekly Update Written By: Kayliana Harris Here is a quick recap of things we have been doing throughout this week. Writing: In writing we have been working on a piece about colonial times. Each student was assigned to a specific job in colonial times. Then, we researched our job and found out as much information as possible on colonial times. We wrote and typed our body paragraphs. Recently, we have been brainstorming ideas for our introduction paragraph. We have not yet wrote it but we are very close. That is what we have been doing in writing. Math : In math we have been working hard on fractions. We have learned how to make an equivalent fraction, simplify a fraction, and how to change an improper fraction into a mixed number (and the other way around).
