Bess Family party of 5… I mean, 8! Thats right we have added some new additions to the Bess Family! Meet Wicket… Wicket is a chi mix (chihuahua mix) and is the cutest friendliest dog ever! He’s 12-13 weeks old but plenty playful! Wicket enjoys curling up on your lap and snuggling with his toy ewok. How did he get the name Wicket?... STAR WARS! If you know me,  my family loves  STAR WARS and Wicket is a small Ewok from STAR WARS (teddy-bear looking creatures) Next in line for his name was Chewbacca (Chewy) a wookie, but that turned out to be his middle name!...His full name is..Wicket Chewbacca Bess! We met Wicket at petsmart but he was born at Second Chance. We adopted Wicket on April 9th 2016 . Meet Rey…   Rey is just a kitten but that does NOT mean she isn't tough! A moment in time    A fishing story   one sunny Oklahoma day, poppie told me to get dressed. I didn't know what we were going until he latched the boat to the truck.  We went fishing. Everyone had caught one except me. Until I felt a big tug. My dad and poppie helped me pull it up. It was huge. When I first saw it I said wow. When we finished mawmow cleaned the fish. Then when we got home mamow made…...fishstick’s. Everyone came to dinner. Then I watched them play phase 10. Then I had to go to bed.        THE END. Mrs.tutt rocks Really nice Sweet . How to wakeboard By Nate Donner This is a really fun sport and I think you guys should try it some time. I do it pretty much every weekend at the lake. Get in the lake Put on the board Make sure the boots are nice and tight Get the rope and put it in the middle of the board Then you have to make sure the rope is tight to the boat and there is no slack Then you say “ pickles” and the boat will go When you feel the boat start to move you pull up and turn your board to your dominant side Hold on and enjoy the ride If you fall get up and try again Now I hope you will try to wakeboard yourself and I hope you all have fun when you try. don't do what this girl did here. It might hurt

Cool Things to Look Forward to For the rest of the year. The whole 5th grade has finished M.A.P testing :) We are all walking to Jimmy Johns on Friday. Next Monday we have a job shadowing field trip at Missouri Credit union. On the 11th we have a hot dog party. On the same day we have the amazing market day. Then on the 13th we have the variety show. That day is also Mrs. Tutts birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then on the 18th we have a hike. On the 20th we have field day! (I love field day!) On the 25th we have are graduation. And on the last day of school we have so much fun stuff I can't wait. :) :) :) :) :) :)  

  Last Friday, April 29th was the 2016 Fifth Grade Sock Hop!  Everybody that came looked amazing, including all of the teachers! At the sock hop there were games in the classrooms. One of the games wasLimbo! That game was so cool because I saw some people who got really low and I know that I couldn't do that so I didn't even try. Another game was called Minute To WIn It!   That was a lot of fun. There were two Minute To Win It games in that room.  The first was where you tried to get the Oreo cookie from your forehead into your mouth. The second was where you tried to get the blue cup to the top of the stack cups. In another room, there was the candy walk and lots of us won prices on that game. Another one of my favorites was Karaoke . It was really funny because most of the boys were almost screaming into the microphone and we could hear them from the gym! Last but not least, there was a Photo Booth and we all got some funny photos of ourselves toget...

Narrative by: Bella Year of the Hoops My name is Isabella and I play on the hoops express 2023 basketball team. I have played on this team for three years. My position on the team is gaurd 2 and 3. There are nine other people on my team: Ella,Sophie,Sophie shupp,Kj,Mj,Jenna, Addie,and Addie(Hops). We have done really well so far with our past coaches, but this year we have a new coach who is also really great. We have won several medals in the past years on the Hoops Express team. Seven first places, six second places , and two third places. So as you have  seen we have had a great year but the best year is yet to come!
