Time needed:2 hours Cake:   (total ingredients for two layers,use half the amount for each layer) 1 ½ cups granulated sugar >¾ cups 1 teaspoon vanilla >½ teaspoon 1 ½ cups softened butter>¾ cups 6 eggs>3 3 cups self-rising flour>1 ½ cups 2 teaspoons baking powder> 1 teaspoon Buttercream: 4 cups confectioners sugar 1 ¼  cup softened butter 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 tablespoons of milk Filling: One jar of strawberry jam Fondant icing:  ( we had to use food coloring ) Orange (small packet) Yellow (small packet) Black (small packet) Green (small packet) White (large packet)            Equipment: “8 x 8” inch cake pan Cutting board Rolling pin Parchment paper Mixing bowls Spatula Wisk Cooling rack My mom said that we should only do 1 layer  and we didn't have an “8x8” inch cake pan(we used a “9x9” inch cake pan),...

Do you like drawing? Do you like decorating? Well if you like both of those things you can make a really simple penguin decoration! Just follow these easy directions! Get a white , orange , 2 black , and a blue piece of paper. (The blue is for the eyes, so if you want a different color get that out.) Then get a black marker. After that, cut one of the black papers into an oval-shaped piece. Then cut the other piece of black paper into a circle about half the size of the oval. With your extra black paper cut two black “wings” and set them aside. When you get that done you will want to cut the orange piece of paper into two penguin shaped feet and a diamond. Cut the white piece of paper into a slightly smaller oval than the first one. You will also want to cut two circles about half the size of your first one. Bess Family party of 5… I mean, 8! Thats right we have added some new additions to the Bess Family! Meet Wicket… Wicket is a chi mix (chihuahua mix) and is the cutest friendliest dog ever! He’s 12-13 weeks old but plenty playful! Wicket enjoys curling up on your lap and snuggling with his toy ewok. How did he get the name Wicket?... STAR WARS! If you know me,  my family loves  STAR WARS and Wicket is a small Ewok from STAR WARS (teddy-bear looking creatures) Next in line for his name was Chewbacca (Chewy) a wookie, but that turned out to be his middle name!...His full name is..Wicket Chewbacca Bess! We met Wicket at petsmart but he was born at Second Chance. We adopted Wicket on April 9th 2016 . Meet Rey…   Rey is just a kitten but that does NOT mean she isn't tough! A moment in time    A fishing story   one sunny Oklahoma day, poppie told me to get dressed. I didn't know what we were going until he latched the boat to the truck.  We went fishing. Everyone had caught one except me. Until I felt a big tug. My dad and poppie helped me pull it up. It was huge. When I first saw it I said wow. When we finished mawmow cleaned the fish. How to wakeboard By Nate Donner This is a really fun sport and I think you guys should try it some time. I do it pretty much every weekend at the lake. Get in the lake Put on the board Make sure the boots are nice and tight Get the rope and put it in the middle of the board Then you have to make sure the rope is tight to the boat and there is no slack Then you say “ pickles” and the boat will go When you feel the boat start to move you pull up and turn your board to your dominant side Hold on and enjoy the ride If you fall get up and try again Now I hope you will try to wakeboard yourself and I hope you all have fun when you try. don't do what this girl did here. It might hurt
