                         Wonder Movie Review Wonder was such a great movie.  The book is a lot like the movie.  So if you liked the book you should totally see the movie.  The movie was so sad and funny.  The thing I liked about the movie was that it had sad  moments, happy moments, funny moment. I would totally rate this movie five out of five stars. Wonder was an amazing movie. The greatest sleepover ever! First it was 4:00 time  to pick up my first friend Hannah. Then we got back in the car to pick up Cammy at 4:15. Next we drove back to my house. Soon after that Lillian came at 4:30. Then I got on to the computer to see what teams we would be on for lazer tag. I spun  the spinner and Cammy and I were on the green team and Hannah and Lillian were on the red team: GAME ON! When we got to Lazer Lanes we played some lazer tag. When we got in there it was dark but not too dark not see anything. We ran and shot them with are lazer  gun then quickly ran somewhere to safety.  It was weird because when you thought you were safe someone would shoot you and then you  would no be able to shoot someone else for few seconds afterwards. A Day on the Farm By Hayden Duncan First I wake up at about seven thirty and start the day with a good home raised breakfast including eggs bacon milk and toast and the occasional bisket. Next we get our gear on and head outside feed the pigs then cows next sheep and chickens and I attend to my puppy.  Sometimes we go inside and rest or work on other things.  Then other days we stay outside and work in the garden, high tunnel or around the farm.  At  four o'clock we go back outside and feed and water all the animals again. Then we come inside and go to bed and tomorrow and the cycle starts over again.

Brilliant BizTown By:  Ella Medley On Tuesday, January 23rd the fifth grade classes went to BizTown in St. Louis.  BizTown is a simulation of a community.  Each student is assigned a job in one of the BizTown businesses.  My job was the principal CEO of JA University.  We spent our time at work completing the tasks we were assigned.  For our work we were paid BizTown dollars that we could deposit into our checking accounts.  On our breaks we could spend our money at the BizTown businesses.   The businesses and services at BizTown included: AT&T, Monsanto, Purina, Biz Mart, JA University, Children’s Hospital, City Hall, Professional Offices, Utilities, Warehouse, KJAR radio station, Tech Mahindra, Print Shop, Smokehouse Market, Mastercard, First Bank,  and KPLR 11 television station.  We learned what it is like to earn money and make decisions about how to spend it.  According to the fifth graders that voted, the favorit...

Ben's Kids Corner For my kids corner I made a Dish from Hellofresh, a healthy food website. The dish was called Sizzling Southwestern Chicken. Here’s my progress. The greatest showman.    I like the music and the singing.    I loved the way they were dancing.   My favorite actors were Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron.  I would recommend it to others and I think they should see it in the theaters.  I Loved in the end when they sang this is the greatest show. I learned if you believe you can do it then you can  I would recommend it to Mrs. Tutt And Christian. It's a really good movie and I really Liked it and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.  I hope to be a great showman some day.

Razz-Ma-Tazz Bars By Colin Lea ½ cup (1 stick) butter or margarine 2 cups(12 ounce package) white chocolate morsels,divided 2 large eggs ½ cup granulated sugar 1 cup all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon almond extract ½ cup seedless raspberry jam ¼ cup toasted sliced almonds PREHEAT oven to 325℉. Grease and sugar 9-inch-square baking pan. MELT butter in medium, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH power for 1 minute; stir. Add 1 cup morsels; let stand. Do not stir. BEAT eggs in large mixer bowl until foamy. Add granulated sugar; beat until light lemon colored, about 5 minutes. Stir in morsel- butter mixture. Add flour, salt and almond extract; mix at low speed until combined. Spread ⅔ of butter into prepared pan. BAKE for 15 to 17 minutes or until light golden brown around the edges. Remove from oven to wire rack. HEAT jam in small, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH power for 30 seconds; stir. Spread jam over warm crust. Stir remaining 1 cup morsels into re...

Cookies,rice crispy treats,pretzels oh my On December 17th we had cookie making. Our cookie making is crazy. My whole step dad’s family comes to decorate cookies, rice crispy treats and chocolate dipped pretzels. The first thing we have to do is prepare for guests. So we move all the furniture and we put down a tarp so nothing gets on the floor. Then we get another table out. And that is when the first gest popped in, it was aunt Paula and then Macy, Uncle Chris, Emory, Aunt Carol, Madeline, all of them started pouring in. Once we got started it was as loud as always everybody yelling can you pass the icing, blue the red yellow, pink, orange and on top of that everybody is talking to one another. We decorated like no one's business but that was only the start. We were decorating cookies from santa's to elf shoes. Sprinkles were flying everywhere and frosting all over. Christmas with Adam It was 12/24/2017, Christmas Eve. I was so pumped for Christmas. I had to wait 24 more hours. I told my mom “I will be outside in the snow to waste time for Christmas”. It was kind of cold, but it was ok. It was time to go to church. When we got back, we took some pictures then started making pizzas. Once we were we done, we ate a candle lit dinner. After that we opened a Christmas Eve present and as we knew, it was pjs. We all put them on and took some pictures then went to bed. Once we were in bed, I just watched youtube for a while then went to sleep. Once we woke up, I was ready, but I had to wait so I watched youtube until it was time. It was time to go to the living room. I was so happy then we walked out there. There were presents and toys galore. Once we were finished with presents, we played with our toys for a little while. My Time in California BOOM, CRACK! The sound of the storm chilled me to the bone. I wondered if our flight was delayed because of the storm. Luckily, I thought wrong. We walked into the airport, checked in, and went to gate C31 in the Kansas City airport. The sign read: departure 11:30 status on time. I was relieved as I boarded the plane to San Diego, CA After 3 hours of sleeping and watching movies we finally arrive to California. Then we walked to the car rental area, we rented a shiny brand new black BMW convertible, throughout the trip I continued to jump over the doors and into the car feeling that I wanted to be like James Bond. Afterward we drove to the airport pickup area to pick up my best friend Vincent. He oohed and aahed when we picked him up in the BMW. ‘Dang i've never been in a BMW before’ he explains. The Time I Got To Shoot A 22 Rifle I asked my dad if he would take me out to shoot a 22 rifle. He said he would figure out a good place. The next day we went out by his cousin’s house and found a bunch of old junk. We found a wood board to put the glass bottles on. I filled the rifle and shot the bottles.We shot bottles for a while. Dad decided to get his single barrel shotgun. The gun  was really loud. The 22 rifle was my kind of gun because it wasn’t as loud, and I could stay balanced while firing. The shotgun could shoot a medium size hole in a plastic toy. The things we were shooting were really old toys so we could shoot them. The guns my dad has in total are 2 types of shotguns a 22 rifle and a  pistol. The guns i have are a bb gun and a 22 rifle. We also enjoy shooting our bows too.
